Chicken Momos

CHICKEN MOMOS


Ingredients:

- 250g minced chicken

- 1 cup finely chopped cabbage

- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion

- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1- piece of ginger, minced

- 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped

- 2 tbsp soy sauce

- 1 tbsp oil

- Salt to taste

- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder

- Round dumpling wrappers

- Water for sealing



Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine minced chicken, chopped cabbage, onion, garlic, ginger, green chilies, soy sauce, oil, salt, and black pepper powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2. Take a dumpling wrapper and place a tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center.

3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it in half, pressing the edges firmly to seal the momo.

4. You can either pleat the edges or leave them as they are, depending on your preference.

5. Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and chicken mixture.

6. Steam the momos in a steamer for about 10-12 minutes until they are cooked through.

7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as soy sauce mixed with a little vinegar or chili sauce.
